Od 22.-30. srpnja 2018. godine, Forum za održivi razvoj Zeleni prozor bio je domaćin međunarodnog ljetnog kampa pod nazivom Fighting for Our Common Planet, održanom u Selcu. Ovaj ljetni kamp organizirala je Federacija mladih europskih Zelenih (Federation of Young European Greens  – FYEG), uz dodatnu podršku Europske zaklade za mlade Vijeća Europe (European Youth Foundation of Council of Europe – EYF) i Zelene europske zaklade (Green European Foundation – GEF).

Glavna tema su bila prirodna zajednička dobra i njihovo održivo, inkluzivno i participativno održavanje. Tijekom ljetnog kampa, održane su mnoge diskusije, interaktivne debate i simulacije, s ciljem osnaživanja kapaciteta i obrazovanja mladih ljudi o tome što su točno zajednička dobra, koja je veza prirodnih zajedničkih dobara i participacije mladih, te kako zagovarati prirodna zajednička dobra. Uz članove naše Udruge i ostale predavače, ljetnom kampu su nazočili i doprinijeli i predstavnici hrvatskih institucija: Instituta za razvoj i međunarodne odnose, Instituta za političku ekologiju te udruge Eko Kvarner.

Ljetni kamp je okupio oko 50 mladih osoba između 16 i 35 godina s prebivalištem u jednoj od članica Vijeća Europe ili Bjelorusiji. Uz produktivne sesije, sudionici su otkrili ljepote hrvatske obale, oformili nova prijateljstva, partnerstva i izmijenili primjere dobre prakse zaštite i zagovaranja okoliša. From 22nd to 30th of July 2018, Sustainable Development Forum Green Window hosted an international Summer Camp, titled Fighting for Our Common Planet, in Selce, Croatia. This Summer Camp is organized by the Federation of Young European Greens and additionally supported by the European Youth Foundation of Council of Europe and the Green European Foundation.

The focus was on environmental commons and their sustainable, inclusive and participatory management. During the Summer Camp, plenty of discussions, interactive debates, and role plays were carried out, with the aim of increasing capacities of young people and educating them about what exactly commons are, what is the relationship between environmental commons and youth participation, and how to advocate for natural commons. Along with the members of our Association and other speakers, representatives of the Institute for Development and International Relations, the Institute for Political Ecology and Eko Kvarner Association, all from Croatia, have also attended and contributed to the Summer Camp.

The Summer Camp gathered around 50 youngsters between 16 and 35 years of age, residing in one of the Council of Europe member states or Belarus. Along with fruitful sessions, the participants have discovered the beauties of the Croatian seaside, formed new friendships, partnerships, and exchanged good practices of protecting and advocating for the environment.
