EGAT nacionalni trening

Zelena europska zaklada  (Green European Foundation), u suradnji sa udrugom Forum za održivi razvoj Zeleni prozor i Mrežom za suradnju i razvoj Istočne Europe (Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe), organizirala je trodnevni nacionalni trening za 20 sudionika u sklopu projekta „European Green Activists Training“ (EGAT). Trening je održan od 20. do 22. listopada 2017. godine u Domu Crvenog križa u parku prirode Medvednica.

Kroz nacionalni trening, sudionici su upoznati sa radom institucija Europske unije, načinom funkcioniranja lokalne samouprave, osnovama zelene politike i koncepta održivog razvoja, te su, kroz diskusije sa predstavnicima lokalne vlasti, raspravljali o mogućnostima uključivanja u vlastitu lokalnu zajednicu i izgradnju zelenijeg i pravednijeg društva.

Osim Hrvatske, u sklopu EGAT projekta organizirani su i nacionalni treninzi u Finskoj, Mađarskoj, Češkoj i Malti. Nakon nacionalnih treninga, predviđeno je putovanje i zajednički posjet sudionika iz svih partnerskih država institucijama Europske unije u Bruxellesu.

Glavne teme nacionalnog treninga bile su Europska unija i njena povijest, institucije i problemi, Brexit, prednosti i mane GMO, klimatske promjene, migracije, te upoznavanje sa načinom funkcioniranja lokalne samouprave i metodama poticanja participacije mladih u lokalnoj zajednici.

The Green European Foundation (GEF) has, along with the Forum for Sustainable Development Green Window and the Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe (CDNEE), organized a three-day long national training for 20 participants in the scope of the “European Green Activists Training” (EGAT) project. The national training took place from October 20th-22nd 2017 in the facilities of a Red Cross Mountain Lodge in the Nature Park Medvednica.

During the national training, participants have been introduced to the work of the institutions of the European Union, the organization of the local government, the basics of Green politics and the concept of Sustainable Development. Through discussions with representatives of local authorities, participants have also discussed the possibilities of undertaking action in their local community and building a greener community with greater justice.

Along with Croatia, national trainings in the scope of the EGAT project also took place in Finland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Malta. After national trainings, a study trip from all partner countries to Brussels is planned, with the aim of visiting the institutions of the European Union.

The main topics of the national training were the European Union, its history, institutions and problems, Brexit, advantages and disadvantages of GMO, climate change, migrations, decision-making on the level of a local government and methods of nurturing participation of youth in a local community.
